Actually, it doesn't. Blowing your own with the MUG or kicking it causes you to pick it back up, unless you get lucky. On rare occasions the kick does work, most the time thhey cause you to pick it up.

I didn't realize that there was a topic for bug posting, so here goes:
In CUT2:E v3.6 for UT2004, if you try to kick a translocator beacon it doesn't work. It won't budge, but you hear the kick noise. I have not tried kicking my own beacon or blowing one with the MUG.

Translocator kick bug in v3.6

If you try to kick a translocator beacon in CUT2:E v3.6, it does not budge. Just an FYI to the devleopers.
