1st person melee! \o/

Could you also look into adjusting the 3rd person melee camera so that the view isn't centered on the player's lower torso? Perhaps position it over the player's head or something? It would make grappling with melee weapons much easier.

I'm not exactly an expert on this, but you've probably borked your install somehow. I would recommend pretty much removing everything chaos-related and downloading/installing 3.7 and 3.75

Remember that if you use winrar or winzip (I think) that you will only have to extract to the UT2004 folder.

What is the base damage for the staff and claws heavy stance? Is it 9 or 18?

The Katana isn't all that bad from my experience... 1) Somersault headshots RULZ. The = style + substance 2) The light stange gets T3H S3CKX0RTZ headshots, if you aim a little. Ugh, the somersault attacks are some of the worst in the game. They're nearly impossible to hit with against moving oppone...

Eh, it's not a problem. That said, I understand Australia gets screwed up the bum in terms of game releases/prices, so it's perfectly understandable to be a cheapskate. Melee weapons can only be run with Chaos gametypes, like Duel, KOTH, CCTF, HCTF, Horde Hunters, CDM and CTDM.

Also, this thread belongs in the Tech Support forum.

Is he holding some sort of club/rattle thing? I can't tell from the screenshots.
