ChaosUT should in NO way affect regular UT2004(unless you added a few too many paths into your ini),unless you boot it via community menu

i suspect you buggered the install,as i have never encountered that bug

Select ChaosDM as the gametype and press the match options,and then at the bottom there should be melee only option

To play CUT you need the ECE Bonus pack

Just to be on the safe side,i suggest reinstalling the Patch after installing ECE,as 60% of the times installing ece makes umod's not work anymore

All of the maps there are included with the 3.X releases...i still wonder why CD did that
