Sorry for your trouble. Can you post your entire chaosut2.log file so we can see what the issue is? (you can find it in your ut2004\chaosut2\system folder).

Thanks!

"D3DERR_DRIVERINTERNALERROR"
"Please delete UT2004.ini"?

Sounds more like non-chaos problems to me. It seems you got some graphic driver issues. Considered updating drivers?
For GeForce - www.nvidia.com
For ATI Radeon - www.ati.com

Which graphics card you got?

EDIT: Start - Run - dxdiag - Display Tab - Test Direct3D
Also check your DirectX version. New is 9.0c
Under Display you can also see your graphics card model and all the info you get with it.

Post again if this wont help.
Perhaps you could try posting UT2004.log also. It's in \UT2004\System\ folder.

Is this a first install for Chaos? if so it should be pretty easy download full u-Mod Install 3.60 Chaos. You also need the Epic ECE add on package which you can get at www.unrealtournament.com Lastly you have to back up your UT2K4 patches to 3272 0r even 3339 before you install the ECE Package. Then you should be there+ able to play and get online to play.again in this order.Delete the Chaos version you have,Back up to a older patch install ECE,Then go to patch 3355 and install chaos 3.60 umod.Hope that helps :)

Wow, never noticed O.o
And I'm not known for never onticing things. Well, it can still help ATI users with similar probs... If anyone just happened to read it and got ATI... Or if he's got another PC with ATI on and same error :P
