I tried to load up my Chaos game, newest version, and it crashes with


C++ Visual Error

Runtime Error!

D:\Games\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe


then the usual "this program has terminated"


there is no log file being written, so I can't get that, I have both ECE and new patch and etc, and it still won't work, I had an older version of it, one down I believe that came with the Editor's Choice versoin of the game, and that worked just fine, so I uninstalled it and put in the new version, and it refuses to load, it just crashes. Files missing? But what? I downloaded it three times from different links.

what file did you download? If you had the ECE version than you have to download a FULL version of the mod There were several things that we had to cut out of the ECE in order to hit the file size Epic gave us. Sorry for your trouble but let us know!

Should be options in the Control or User panael. Click on the profile on the top.

Avatar is in "Profile" at the very bottom of that page.



and I tried two links, one a umod, one a zip.

neither worked. Both full as you can see by the links.

Does the normal UT2004 log file say anything?

Hmm if that is blank maybe re-installing UT2k4 as we have seen a simular failures before fixed by this. Sorry for the trouble!
