Cant get the Personal Teleporter to work in CUT2 3.81

I have CUT2 3.81 up and running but i cant figure out how to make the teleporter work, in the game menu setting i bound the letter "P" for the teleporter and i made sure i have 90 strength left on my gravity belt but when i hit P the teleporter does not appear,what am i doing wrong?

Make sure you are running with the mod version activated, and not just using the mutator.

I didn't mention that on the site write-up apparently, but Matt was a bit more thorough when he wrote the readme:

"New ChaosUT2 Features:
-Personal Teleporter, inspired by Quake 2 Chaos, added to Chaos gametypes only except for Duel, KoTH/Team KoTH and Horde Hunters."

IF that solves it for you, np, and don't sweat it. I don't read many readme's these days either. ;p Hell, just recently when having an issue while using an electric tree limb cutter with my son, he suggested I look at the manual. My answer was "nah, I'm not bleeding yet, no reason to panic."

I am using the mutator,how do i activate the mod version?

when i tried to add that command line to my ut2004 shortcut properties it accepted it but nothing would start up,its like it killed the shortcut.

any ideas?

when i activate mod through the community i get an "invalid cd key error"

when i alter the command line i get this start up error:
UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]

OS: Windows NT 6.1 (Build: 7601)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 3211 MHz with 4095MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (3788)

Failed to enter mod="ChaosUT2": Can't find file 'mod="ChaosUT2"'

History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine <- FMallocWindows::Free

any ideas?
