Wholy crap.. I wasn't going to touch this one because of the size, and obvious hardware strain you guys were talking about, but.. Those screen shots.. Damn..

My co-clan leader and I where playing this map in an invasion and had alot of fun w/ it... its a gr8 level and it looks sooo pretty. The only problem w/ this level I had was getting stuck against in an invisible wall near the edges of the level... here is a 'lil screen shoot I took, if it works that is...

Yeah... I wanted to run off into that valley and see what else Mr. Angelheart was capable of. Absolutely mind-numbingly beautiful map (and happily enough it runs like a dream, even with eye candy *gloat*)

Here's one I didn't notice yet. (give me a clue next time you find an Angelheart map Shuriken! hook me up man  )

Here's a pic from another one awhile back; <a href="http://www.planetunreal.com/chaotic/boa ... angkor.jpg" target="_blank">DM-Angkor</a>

Many times, he does not care about the game play of the map. He makes what he wants, and it doesn't matter how it actually plays. And IMO, that's a wonderful thing, because he does it well enough to get away with it.

So most of them you can download to check out if you like that kinda thing, but don't expect a map for regular matches.

I'm afraid to try this map out (and FromHell) because of the UBER PURDINESS!!!

I'm afraid my compy will be havin some trouble tonight..

512 DDR
2.5 gig
RADEON 9700

still doesn't sound like enough, but these levels look HL-2 quality (not sure if i should mention HL-2 here though =O)

EDIT:

(eeek) (eeek) (eeek)

Even with everything pumped up (and a 1600x1400 res to boot) everything plays as smooth as ice. this is an incredibly beautiful level. Lovely music too XD. This is such a great pice of gameplay... Making levels should really be considered a recognized form of fine arts. There is no comprehension from many people on how long it takes to make masterpieces like this. To the maker of this map, i salute you a thousand times over
