Well, sadly no Source-Code has reached
me yet

Any problems ? Anything were I could help (If I got it right in the earlier mail there was
some sort of Linux-related problem ?).

Maybe I could take up contact directly with
Fred (But I do not have his email address, neither his ICQ number) ?

Can't remember but were you the one who wanted to port this over to Amiga? If so....I have a question for you. Have you done any work with the code for Quake3 Arena? The Q3A Chaos team needs some help if you have the skills and the desire. Just have to get Major to get you the most current build. Loqtus or Rimshot might be able to help you there if you email them via the BBS. Good luck dude.

I'm sure one of those folks I mentioned in my prior post could get you the source for ChaosDM for Q2 also.....

Sadly there is no Source-Code release
for Q3 yet (at least not the COMPLETE
Source Code, only the Game-API). So
on my Amiga I cannot have Q3 yet. I doubt id will release the Quake 3 Source-Code before Christmas 2003. Usually they
release a source for one of their games
every 2 years or such (at Christmas). Probably it also depends how soon they'll release their next game, as currently surely some licencee's are still using the Q3 Engine...

Once the Q3 Source (if ever) is released
I surely will have a look at it - but right
now only interested in Q2 stuff.
