Zoom has 2 modes you can choose from.
Either zoom in multiple steps, or zoom in one long press.
I assume it is using the one you don't like

I have not come across this so no insight.
Unfortunately we can't offer any advice or fix anything with this as none of the old coders are around.

I don't have any experience with them.
However I would personally avoid Oculus while they require login to facebook to work.

Not much activity here these days.
The discord gets more use, but there isn't a big community these days.

Unfortunately without more devs it became too much work to build a whole new game.
Everything is in stasis.
