We are sorry for your troubles, and we will certainly help in any way we can. When you run the installer, make sure you have the "ChaosUT2" folder (located one-level-down in the folder that you downloaded) selected in the "File Path" text box. If it still doesnt work. You can man...

@ jedi - The texture issue was fixed in an official patch back in 2k3 @ Tangent - The installer currently does everything that you will need to worry about. The launcher was used with another method of installation which will be explained in an upcoming tutorial. If the installation was successful s...

I will be writing a tutorial within the next few days which will walk mac users thru an easy manual install. This will allow us to have a clean Chaos install in its own folder. I am planning on writing it so that chaos will activate from a separate launcher, but I could make it so it is always "...

If you used the installer and it worked properly, I don't believe it is necessary to use the launcher. Just start ut2k4 up like normal and the gametypes and mutators will be listed. Due to an epic bug, the community menu is not working on non-win32 systems (so we just dont use it, the mod still work...

If you are a good enough shot with the needler, you can get it to attach to someone's neck. They get a 5 ish second countdown, then BOOM, no more head

Release Candidate: At this point most of the bugs are out of the way and the focus turns away from bug testing to putting the final package together that will be released to the public. A few of us will try installing it on top of a clean ut2k4 install to make sure all the files are in place and wor...

My roomate thought it would be funny to take all the keys off my keyboard and scatter them around the room. Yeah, he got me good. Took me 2 hours to find all of them. I mean, who puts keys under carpet? Anyways, turnabout is fair play. There now sits a .bat in his startup folder that shuts him down ...

I think the opacity is perfect. Pooled water turns into translucent ice, this ice is applied, ripped, and ravaged by the wind. The effect does a good job of showing this.

(stuck) <- guess you won't be doing much of this for a bit. Glad to hear everything is ok. Driving around at home over break I had a near miss at a strange intersection on a strange back road where I don't often find myself. As I righted the car and looked around, I saw the strangest sight. 5 Belted...

Good Sir Furry! It was actually quite an honor to know that we were on the same page to that extent. Plus, the game is good enough to deserve 2 threads. Makes you wonder how long its been around and just how popular it is. (b) <- Root Beer :-)
