got it now have added the serverpackages= to ut2004.ini file from thread

now they all weapons appear in game as do the armour shards etc.

Ah no there not just the paths references got added by umod install, i'me sure they got added automatically in the ut2003 version of chaos. oh well will have to add them manually

true, i hadn't though of that way to solve the problem, is there a chaotic dreams intro sequence that could be put in place of the nvidia one for example showing of some of the weapons from the mod
