Had a chance to play some and I have to say this guy is pretty cool. I don't use the typical wasd key setup so I had to hack the .ini so I wouldn't feel even more mentally and physicaly disabled than I am  . Perhaps configurable controls within the menu wouldn't hurt but not a serious problem....

I finally got a chance. If you really want to use this map as a base to build on, I would suggest doing more than adding a hall with goodies and a super weapon. How about having ramps or stairs leading up to a larger room, or rooms, above these halls? Perhaps designed as observation decks with glass...

To expand on my earlier comment regarding the -CE-. The prefered method for DM and CTF maps is to place standard weapons and ammo and allow the mod/mutator to add in the Chaos stuff. This way people without the Chaos mod can still download and play the map without having missing files (hence, no nee...

It's a modification of Epic's DM-TrainingDay right? I look forward to seeing what you do with it. That's a good map when you want to finish a game in 3 minutes or less :D . As far as the name goes, the -CE- is how we distinguish our official chaos team member maps in DM and CTF, so you should leave ...

8) Here's a few things to consider. 1- Raising the antenna to a platform above the stair landing so people can fight on or travel over the stairs better. 2- Add a trigger at the control panel for triggering Ion cannons pointing upwards so players can kill anyone grappling around above the main platf...

NightClub was missing files (BRuntex, HighTown, Runmesh1). LostStone was a moody little map (up) but that 1 long rock mesh is open on one end so you can run inside it (good hiding spot for me  ) Also that one repeating bird call might be better on a time delay in a scripted sequence trigger thi...

 I also had this problem and a search of the Atari forums led me to believe this proceedure was broken. I just tried again and adding those lines to all my vanilla and chaos .ini files had no effect. BUT, I applied them to the number keys above the letters and low-and-behold THEY WORK! Hot digg...

Sorry for the delay. I did some investigating and built a test map to confirm. CTF-Magma and DM-CE-Thermotech both use the ZoneInfo actors for the lava kills. In the ZoneInfo> -ZoneInfo> -KillZType set it to KILLZ_Lava. Then use the -KillZ slot to set the elevation where the kill zone will start (tr...
