OK, the installer comes to version 3.0.0. And with it a big change. To install the mod and patches, you select the .zip file itself. So no more uncompressing it and trying to figure out what folder to choose! Just select the .zip file!
The links at the top of the thread are the same so they should work.

You are correct.
Forgot to mention that. Make sure you are downloading the ZIP version.
Generally the UMOD kind is a .zip w/ the UMOD in it and the ZIP kind is a .zip w/ the folders in it.

OK, I have figured out how to open up a umod so now I start the work on incorperating it into my app. You do it through a Unix command. I contacted Ryan Gorden to see if he knows if there is a parameter that makes it so that it will overwrite if the file already exists (you are updated a mod or the like). If you can't, I can get around that by listing the contents and then reading the ucc.log that is created so I can find the files that are going to installed and delete them if they exist and then actually install the UMOD so it wont come up with errors that the file already exists.

OK! New version of the CUT2 starter! Version 1.5.0!

The only thing new about it is that it calls "./Contents/MacOS/Unreal Tournament 2004" instead of "./System/ut2004-bin".

The reason I changed is because for graphics cards that support 3D overides (like mine!). So if I called the "ut2004-bin" one, ATI would think that it was a seperate app then normal "Unreal Tournament 2004.app" one so you wouldn't get all the cool stuff for Chaos but you would for normal UT 2k4. An interesting "side affect" of this that now when UT 2k4 starts up w/ Chaos, it has the actuall UT 2k4 icon in the dock compared to the black console window box w/ green letters icon.

So for people that didn't understand that, what is good about this new version is:
1. if your graphics card supports 3D overides, you can use them with Chaos now.
2. The UT 2k4 icon that shows up in the dock is the real UT 2k4 icon compared to the black box with green writing in it.

Previous links still work up there.

New version of the CUT2 starter! It is now to version 2.0.0!

New in this version is that it not only just starts up UT2k4 w/ CUT2 but also with the splash screen! You will see what I mean when you run CUT2 w/ the new starter.
I also added in a new option to start up the starter and by-pass the window and go directly to loading UT2k4 and when you quit UT2k4, the starter will auto quit! To get the screen back after enabling that option, press and hold down the command key till the window pops up. The next time you run the starter, If you select it, you need to start up the mod first for it to save so that it will work. You can not just select it and then quit expecting it to save for the next time.

Links still work!

UT2k4. I also deleted my CUT prefs, but to no avail.
EDIT: Nevermind, turns out my brother just messed up when installing UnWheel.
GJ on the startup. How'd you get the splash screen to work? It looks tres sexy.

Hi,

I installed everything like it should be done, everything is in it's place.. but.. when I start the starter.app the icon bumps once in the dock.. and then..nothing, absolutely nothing.. nothing opens, nothing crashes.

What's goin wrong? it's a clean install.. Fragops works ok..
