Greetings! Great mod. I've been eagerly anticipating v3.7 for months, and it plays great!

I am consistently crashing at one and only one point. From the main menu, I choose Settings, then click on the Chaos tab. The game crashes consistently with the following:
UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2796 MHz with 2045MB RAM

I installed using the 3.6->3.7 UMOD installer. Crash did not occur previously (at 3.6).

Other than this, the game plays great. Looking forward to good times ahead!

my best guess its a bad install...as your missing chaos sound files and texture packages.

We have found it that Chaos does not like installs were you have old stuff lingering... But double check on that install...and ensure you can find those chaos files. All chaos files except the one ucl should be in your UT2004 dir make sure the UMOD install did not miss and put them somewhere else...

Alrighty - I'll try to fix that with a new install. Will take the files out of the .zip package, in fact. Mystery why the UMOD dropped them on me, unless they've been missing for a while....?

About the Farnsworth, etc., junk ... those are just character models with incomplete installs. They plague my UT2k4 installation and show up in every log file I generate. They seem harmless, and I never brought myself to delete old Prof. Farnsworth from my HD, since he works in game and I do love him so.

You could hassle Jb about 'parameters' some if you want (cause I'm not sure I understand all that yet myself).

it would take me too much time to list them all here. You can go into each of the gametype sections of the Chaosut2.ini file and find each of the vars there. Then add the options you want in the voting cofig menu. All of the Chaos ones should work..not 100% on Epics. Here is a screen shot of our server with some of those options filled out:

So look up the option you want to add via the ini, then add it using the examples above and I think the "," is the delimiter used if you have more than one option to add.
