Duel Mode not working? (CUT2 Mac)

Whenever I try to start a duel match (all other gametypes work fine) it stays on the loading screen for ages and then crashes.

P.S.I also have a problem the sound effects (but not the music?) all sound really muffled. (sorry I can't elaborate)

Hi there! First, can you tell me what version of UT2k4 do you have and what version of CUT are you using? Also, do you have the ECE installed?

Latest versions of CUT and Unreal,and yes I do have the ECE.

Going to try a few more duel maps,just in case the bug was specific to the 2-3 I tried.

EDIT:Managed to somehow fix the duel mode on my own,sound problem persists though.
