Hi,

I am a great fan of the Chaos MOD for Q2 but haven't really played it for well over a year, Q2 is dead in the UK really . . .

last time I checked there were versions being developed for Q3 & UT, can someone give me an update on what the current state of affairs is ?

The version for Q3 has stopped and willl maybe continue on Doom3 or Quake4...
But there is a final version called Chaos UT for Unreal Tournament...

The newest public (beta) version is Chaos UT2: Evolution for UT 2003, freshly released two weeks ago...

Well Q2 chaos is not dead in UK
we still have a chaos server at
supernova.servequake.com:27910
and a dday server at
supernova.servequake.com:27912 i think hehe

if you need to download the maps then you will need to use something like cuteftp

Yes, I agree with Boomshaka that Q2 chaos is alive and well...also here...in the USA as well!

Question - does Q2 have bots, and do ya have to put the disc in to play? I'm thinkin bout getting it, since it's only a fiver. I love games without cd check - one of the main reasons I still have UT1 still installed. And bots are a must for me.

Shuriken - u can get bot 'add ons' ( ice / gladiator etc. ) & if you patch Q2 up to the last release ( 3.20 ) no CD is needed.

Trixie - I used to play the MOO server a lot a few years back, at least i think it was MOO, always had lots of MOO & KEA players on . . .

--Yes wicad, yes indeed our present Moo server...still does have plenty from both clans fragging...but I think the time frame he speaks of...might've been MadHouse or before then possibly Thundertown. We did have a Cattletown server...before Mootown so I'm not sure which it could've been...

--I do remember the old chaos nick, [FCUK]IT....how's it going? I don't know if you've heard of or know of me though.
