Elegant Universe; tonight on PBS.
One of the most ambitious and exciting theories ever proposed -- one that may be the long-sought "theory of everything," which eluded even Einstein -- gets a masterful, lavishly computer-animated explanation from bestselling author-physicist Brian Greene, when NOVA presents the nuts, bolts, and sometimes outright nuttiness of string theory.

It was a great show, and there is at least one more episode I think.

I thought that much of it was kind of repetitive, they kinda kept saying the same things over and over, but still it was neat to try and comprehend what it is they are saying.

I still can't really wrap my mind around the idea of the other dimensions, but it's neat to try. And the story of how people come to some of these ideas is fascinating in itself.

Wild, wild stuff, as Johnny would say.

This probably isn't legal, but I'll make this one exception, and justify it by saying 'it's science'. But I've also supported PBS with cash too!

Anyway, this show is currently available on Google video:

Wouldn't say it's the best documentary I've seen, but it's still very neat.

Also cool on Google (they're not new, but still cool):

Science rocks!
