Confirmed: No Unreal Tournament 2007 till 2007

Post by genman »

In October 2003, Atari announced that Unreal Tournament 2004 had been delayed...until 2004. Though it was originally slated for a February release, the latest installment in Epic Games' wildly popular PC shooter didn't make it to market until mid-March.

Now it appears that this year, Unreal fans will be feeling a sense of déjà vu vis-à-vis the latest installment in the series. Today, representatives for Midway Games, which took over Unreal publishing duties from Atari in July 2004, announced that Unreal Tournament 2007 will not be released in time for the 2006 holiday season.

Thanks for the info. However I never trust a publisher. Just becase they best idea comes from the developer themesleves..

Nice to see you Genman1 So are you going to try our new HyperCTF... the main and only wepaon (besides the class tens) is an ERDW.. Almost made this with you in mind :P

Jb you obviously did not play against me enough...

Think i did a few matches with gen though... we are both ERDW hogs (though i swap it with the sniper a lot for lifetracker)

Wallkill? too much a waste of ammo.

I used the ERDW as a sniper rifle. I was awesome like that. Somewhere theres the picture of me and gas on the clanmatch we did once.. we both hit someone with an ERDW at the same time in a huge X.

I think me and Peppy killed each other with the EDRW at the same time once... it was interesting.

No you misunderstand pep.

I only use the primary fire when i have double damage. I almost exclusively use secondary. I just dont like wasting ammo taking pot shots through walls when i could have a much better chance at hitting someone i can see. 3 full power shots means dont waste one on the wall
