Bug report. Sorry!

I have had a stab at it, i've read through the threads, but decided to wait for my new graphics card. I've removed most of the mods in my UT, JailBreak, AlienSwarm, UT2k4 anything i fund evidence of problems in the threads here, but nothing seems to work.
Sorry, the problem is the actual mod doesn't work, can't load it from the start menu or the community section, though the mutator works. to mock me. I'm not so keen on removing anything else on my isntallation, i got a few mods and muts and custom skins ofcourse and maps. It' enitrely likely it's a crash but a reinstall is a bit troublesome. :S
I figured this would be more usefull than the error report thing that comes up.

Out of interest why do you keep your new playermodels seperate? Seems an odd way to go about it? Sometihng to do with mellee perhaps?
And by the way, when i tried it on the other computer it seemed very impressive, i'd very much like to get it going.

Hmm this type of error tells me that it does not look like the CBP2 is loaded correctly. Can you double check to see if you can re-install CBP2. And after you patched you removed you chaosut2.ini file before you ran the mod correct? Sorry for your trouble.

If i'm honest, past incarnations of the Chaos mod have failed to impress me, the ideas were great but i never felt comfortable with them, that said, everything i didn't like before has been removed and hats off to you i say.
One thing i'm impressed with is the crossbow, i'm fairly certain in teh past it had no tracer or such and i'd fire it and feel nothing had happened, i like how it is now though, i enjoy using it as i'm a fan of crossbows. :D In fact now i play botmatches using nothing but the double axe and teh crossbow. :D Only improvement i can think of is screaming arrows. sometimes, jsut sometimes make the crosbow bolts scream or whistle through the air, would love to hear a crossbow bolt fly past me on my 5.1 surround. ;)

Oh and your grappling hook rocks, i feel like spiderman.

IIRC, the crossbow bolts do actually make a noise as they fly; might be too quiet though, or I might just be wrong ;)

Speaking for myself, however, the crossbow is one of my least favourite weapons - I can stand by it because it is well-made, but I did prefer the more technological version from ChaosUT.

I like the crossbow. It's great fun if you're big on precision.

Just like to pop in and say I finally got around to fixing ChaosUT2. I really didn't want to uninstall and lose everything (too lazy to back stuff up, long since deleted every map/mod zip) so I just reinstalled UT2k4 ontop of the already existing game. Patched, started up, and the only thing I had to do was reconfigure controls. Problem solved in 10 minutes.

Axe and crossbows are my weapons of choice, i have a collection of both in my home. :) Poisoning someone with ac rossbow bolt and then decapitating them with a double bladed axe is more than fun i say, especially if you do all this while coming off of a swing from a grapply hook. :D
