Is that the newest versions "vengeance" relic dont explode as it did from the first version you get from the ECE disk. infact it doesn't explode at all and im not using the "Spirit" function.

But what i managed to pick up is that you want a explosion with the vengeance relic? or not? well, just go to chaos options, go to relics and tick on vengeance explosion for a nuke like from UT99 or turn it off so spirits will be released killing everyone they touch.

Sounds like maybe an older bug.

Are you using the 3.75 version of Chaos? If you're not sure it should tell you on the Chaos loading screen, mice-type bottom right corner. Or just try to connect to our server.

I just checked it on our public server, and it worked great. I was in a melee only ChaosDM game, and I promptly got a multi-kill with the explosion as soon as I found that relic.

On topic: the vengeance explosion did conk out occasionally. But I don't think that happens anymore...

Can you post your chaosut2.log right after you see this happen again? Hopefully it will have some details that will help. Its found in your ut2004\chaosut2\system dir
