[BETA] Duel-ChaosArena2k4

Post by MassChAoS »

Greetings ...

I made a little Christmas present for you to play with. Its a not-so-closely-resembling remake of my UT99 DM-CUT_ChaosArena map. Its really tight, you're likely to kill yourself faster than your opponent in DM :) Its also really dark, but it shouldn't be that bad.

Known Bugs:
-You can see through the wall if you are by the rocks.

Almost exactly what I wanted to say; way more curves, looks to much UT99ish now.

Very nice map. It looked a bit dark to me. But I am at my folk's house using a spare monitor so it could be that. love the proxy trap :)

8) Absolutly LOVE the proxy trap! I was thinking of something similar but will keep it secret until I find a place to use it  . Lighting for me was dark and moody but not too bad. Only things that caught my eye were a floating jump pad mesh and the fluid surface not reaching the pool wall. Looking forward to seeing it when it's done. Good Times.

Well aware of the darkness... I brightened it up a bit. I caught the floating static mesh after the release. Now that fluidsurface, you'll have to show me a screen about what you're referring to there...

I could wallpaper my computer room with the 'punch-lists' I make while building my own maps

Ps. Hammerman, let me know if that error is still there. I can't reproduce it on my system, so keep an eye on that water.

 Sorry, I forgot to report back. The water thing must have been my mistake. It probably got selected and moved while I was futzing around in the editor. As far as I'm concerned it's good to go. Na na na na.... na na na na.... hey hey hey.... Good Times

Wow,Truly great map there

1.when you go point blank to the door/next to the rocks covered door you can see that there is nothing there, most use a illusion-ish thing to make it NOT look like it floats in the air

2.The textures still could use a bit more varioation, but thats just me
