I know I'm late, relase day was easter... But who cares.

It's made from central room, which leads to 4 corridors, each leads to 2 corridors, which lead to trap switch and a lift... I'm confused. Anyway, see it for yourself. It's less than 3MB.
- Best played 1on1 or 2on2
- Bots supported
- 5 traps in total, 1 triggered by an use trigger
- 2 hidden rooms
- In total 17 longer corridors and 16 rooms

If I'm honest... No

*EDIT: If you have got some comments about this map, good or bad, SAY IT... After all no one is able to know everything...
That's the way of life - You keep learning for whole life, but then you die dumb. :?

I'm sorta non-word man... I've got ideas for maps, but when it comes to names I'm busted.
The current map I'm making is CTF-UNTITLED, because I can't get a name for it. I'll rename it.
And this CTF map will be waaaaaaaaay less boxy.

PS: Have you found the secret chamber and the easter egg in the map?
TIP: For the secret chamber try looking at textures, that don't match.
TIP2: You'll have to grapple to get to the easter egg... Or be VERY good with transcolator.

You're giving away all the secrets... I'll get around to playing it today maybe.

-The map is too small for the redeemer.
-There are no chaos weapons.
-Use more static meshes
-Room corridor room syndrome. Spice it up a bit.
-Some of the corridor intersections with the rooms need to be fixed, they have textures overlapping into the rooms. Use trim.
-Lighting could use some work.
-Need sounds, not sure that I heard any... particularly for the traps.
-Music?

Scratch the note at no Chaos weapons... that was due to my settings.

The textures on the side of the center trap mover is stretched and the texture on the top is not the same as the one on the bottom.

The egg..... is really an egg.

-I know the top tex isn't the same as the bottom... It should be so.

-And about meshes... I'm not exacly the best at 3D Studio Max and those things, so all meshes I made had ot be made in UnrealEd.

-Lightning in the top are supposed to be so bright.

-And redeemer thing... Basically it's for vortex and turret launcher. Redeemer is to make it normal UT2k4 compatiable. Which I didn't make sucessfully, because game crashes if you don't have CUT installed...

-There are sounds. Unless you lost your ears.

-Music, music, music... You'll be lucky I didn't use Teletubbies' music with MusicOverrideVolume set to 1.

-It's free. As all maps, so basically I did that map for nothing. If I'd like to I could just make a 512×512×512 box with everything set to unlit, 4 spawns and no pickups. But that's not what I made. You'll be happy I made bot support (the most boring part...)

dude, you should never use that as an excuse for good/bad work. i know its frustrating when someone points out errors, but the excuse of "its free" does you no justice. Making a 512 cube would earn you the title of "n00b 13yr old with attitude cos we dissed his first map". which is not good for anyone. Everyone's first map, is in essense, horrendous. The advice i give to everyone is just to learn from it and try to improve on it. Remeber: every other mapper on this site has already gone through this process so we know how it feels to have work trashed. but thats just the nature of the "craft".

Incidentally, you should be making maps for the enjoyment and challenge of crustructing something, not as some sort of favour. The reason i make maps is that it is an accessible creative outlet for me. im stuck in a lab all day being logical. its nice to get home and let go of logic and just create.

i have to agree tho, bot support can be anightmare. id suggest that you never, ever skimp on this however, because this is what can turn a n00b map into a pro map. im sick of ppl releasing internet only or clan editions of levels. to me that is like spending hours perfecting something only to hash it up at the end cos you cant be arsed to put in an extra hour to achieve a higher standard.

I don't mean it THAT way... It was kinda... Dunno how to explain... Sarcasm?

And I'm sure every mapper starts out with crap. My 1st map was very creepy (And I actually mean it...). It was lost because of Windows crash (when I get WineX, goodbye Windows...). It was more like an experiment map... I added everything I could imagine.

EDIT: In fact, I like REAL criticism... Or whatever it's spelled... Anyway I like criticism than getting feedback like "Wow, this map ROCKS!!!" from you while the map is s**t
