I just found out how to make grappling hook not grapple on a surface (wall, roof, floating object, etc...), it's very simple:

- Make a mover instead of that object.
- Go under "Mover Properties -> Mover -> DamageTriggered" and set it to "True"

Finished. You don't have to put any keypoints in the mover. Hope this little "tutorial" helps ;)

That is exactly right.
The code was set to automaticly detach if it connects to a mover because for UT we had a problem with the hook attaching to doors and then the doors opening and the hook floating there.

Later i used that method in a few maps.

Instead of just making the grapple detach, why not send 20 000 volts down the cable into the unsespecting player. BZZZZZZZZT!

Have you ever been electrocuted? Probably not, because you don't go BZZZZZZZZT. You just start shivering uncontrollably and then spontaneously catch fire...

If I could have done it in Arena2, I would have. I think you'd need to code a new volume to make it so that it damages players when thier grapple enters it.

Hopefully the new build will have the version of Arena2 where the electricity appears in online games.
