Yes it finally comes out : the LARCHMP (LArchitecte's Remake CHaos Map Pack), DUEL ONLY
This map pack includes 11 new (but releases too) duel maps, that are all remakes. They are my first experiences with uEd, but dont worry, there are as always good quality designed I started mapping last year duraing the summer holiday, remember ?
I wanted to add 2 more maps in this mp, but I dont have the author's permission. I cant join the first one cause the only address I have is on the utchat (and he's never connected), the second one has his own site (the author of the ut2k3 FaceOff mod) but it is closed for a very long time...
Never mind here is the link (about 100 Mb dl)

Hey, you found a use for DM-Gael.
It's a huge shame the best feature of Fractal is wasted here, Is it possible to fix it so when someone falls through the beams it actually shows it properly?
Elhazad makes for a neat arena too, but please put up a wall or obstruction at the top of the stairs, the invisible wall is jarring and looks really cheap.

I m not sure to understand what you mean concerning Fractal. This map is a remake, I ONLY modified the IA. I did nothing else, I am sorry for the inconvenience, but am not responsible of it
About Elhazad : this is not the final version. I planed to add stm of big wood doors, blocking the stairs and the corridors too. Maybe I ll correct it later, if I have some time.
I planed to create a KOTH map pack too, as I have noticed CUT doesnt have a lot of these maps. Each map will be designed for both melee and CUT/UT weapons. As you know, I dont work anymore on remakes, neither on duel. But I am creating maps only for Chaos.

About Fractal, something goes wrong with the offline mode 'death camera'. Whenever someone falls down the centre trap and then falls into the beams, instead of seeing the slowmo death sequence, the screen just displays black, as if the camera has wedged itself outside of the map somewhere.
I don't know if you can find a workaround for it, i'd absolutely love it though, I mean, the nice satisfying gib-shower death would look oh so sweet with chaos' deathcam.
