Version mismatch?

Every time I try and play a chaos game where there is actually people in it I get a version mismatch, but I've downloaded all the files and the hotfix patch. Does this mean everyone else is running an old version?

this is actually the quake2 chaos forum, but anyways...

Try the server at the IP: 66.153.113.18:7777 If you get the same error one of your chaos files is faulty/corrupted. If not its probably the server you are trying to connect to that has not upgraded.
