when will you release the stand alone spray mutator ?

Ive read about it in the official forums

how does it work and when will you release it ??
cant wait to spray pr0n all over the map like in half-life

Im pretty sure we are NOT releasing a stand alone spray mutator , although , you will be able to add your own sprays.

A user in an off line game can add any image they want. But to get it to show up on line, then that image must be in texture package that the server admin has set up.

A server could have its own spraypaints, for instance a clan server, and then allow people to choose from those. So it's actually more versatile than what we've had in the past. Course, my clan doesn't have to worry about that, since our spraypaint is already in Chaos

But if I am correct, the thing that if the spraypaint is on the server and the client, it will be in the Next PR? Or is it in the current one?

why would someone want stand-alone....you can turn 90% of CUTE off anyway

to use it on server without chaos ...
even if you turn everything but sprays off you still need all the chaos files
chaos is a huge mod and not everyone wants to download it ...

Im not one of those who dont download it but a stand alone would be great

regular players could send pictures they want to use to the server admin and he puts them into a texture file that gets pushed to the players

Our policy up to this point has been to be against the cutting up of chaos. All Functions of chaos will be available only through the chaos mutator and gametypes.

stand alones are not our thing

I wasn't here then but as I have heard it was quite a nightmare to keep CUT for UT99 organized because it was "cut up."

if they play UT online they must have a average connection atleast so they can dl CUTE,so why wont they?
