I like it so far, but think it could do with some work.

* The asymmetry between armour on arms is good, but the trousers look a bit stupid.

* The guy seems a bit too thin?

* Fingers seem to be too thick at the ends - fingers should get thinner torward the end, not just go chubby

* Shoes seem kinda dull, think they could be improved.

* Ditto for hair, nice idea but doesn't look great atm - but if it gets a good texture it could look fine.

Overall I think it's very good!

And ignore comments as you wish, I don't know much about player modeling.

Thoughts on the head:

* Ears should be more 'connected' to the face.

* Should be a clearer division between forehead and hair?

* Eye 'spaces' should be deeper in the face I think, and cheeks emphasised slightly more.

* Same with chin, and he might need a bit more of a neck.

* Nose needs to connect to the face below it better, it just stops atm.

I'd like to see some flat shaded or wireframe renders - it's easier to read the model's geometry.

That's meant to be Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII right? If so, it looks good so far. Something about the hair doesn't seem quite right though.

Maybe you could make the hair a bit more like it is in this pic?
