Chaos patch ??? for jetpack

Sounds like he has the version which was shipped with that Q2 disc, Extremeties or some name like that. Kinda like the GOTYE for UT. Didn't they remove those items for that version?

Get the latest version from the website and you'll be fine.

And BTW, I thought the latest version was like 1.14, or something with a '4' in it anyway.

Weird seeing folks trying out this old Q2 mod for the 1st time. I mean, it's great, but just surprises me that new folks would still find it, and actually try it.

1.14b is the latest version, but 1.13 and 1.14b are server-side updates. So 1.12 is all any player needs. It doesn't hurt to have 1.14b, especially if you play lan games and you plan to host.

i had it but i lost its "gamex86.dll" that i need for my server i download it a long time ago put on cd and lost it ...
then got hooked on action and know going back to chaos..

if i want to start off with the grapple or jetpack ?? do i just type
in my setting "set start_grapple or jetpack " ????

In settings.cfg,

• set start_grapple 0

should be changed to

• set start_grapple 1

0 is off, 1 is on. You can enable/disable other weapons and items in the same way.
