We had some very early code that did just this, but it did not do it at death...but during the game. Its was kind of funny to see bots runing with one leg. Problem was is that to the bot, nothing wa slost as it played the same animations just with out a leg. Then if your sword arm got cut off the weapon got automagicaly attached to your sholder which as you can imigane was "weird" so for the time being we can yank it out.. But maybe we can add it back in at some time in special cases

New gametype: capture the vehicle.
Like bombing run maps, this map could be have symmetrical sides, and in the centre, a slow, powerful vehicle (maybe you could choose what vehicle before the game begins). The vehicle should be invulnerable... any damage should be transfered to the driver (not even the passengers). This vehicle can be captured by both teams. the aim is to move this vehicle back to your base. the maps should be huge, like onslaught maps. Maybe you could also have other, normal vehicles in the map. Maybe the vehicle in the centre can be vulnerable and resets its position back to the centre when destroyed (but then it should be quite weak, like the Ion tank).

watched mission to mars today...got an idea...
what about a superweapon, which shoots something like a tornado.
normal fire: press and hold the mouse button to create a tornado horisontally from your weapon everyone who is enough time in it explodes into many parts
alt fire: same thing but it works like a normal tornado. It moves without you aiming, it can kill the user if he gets in it and its a vertical tornado.

Seige2k3 was the 1st to implement the mushroom cloud with their "Nuke Mortar" as far as I know.R.Flagg wrote: Anyway, it's already been done in '04 hasn't it?
It used the ball launcher model and had to be "bought" / not available as a pickup"

It was originally intended to be a new custom model for the Strangelove but then I decided it may have other possibilities.

Here's something I've been wanting to see
How about Custom species default weapons to replace the shield gun.
Shield gun could be left for one of the species though since I know Chaos doesn't tend to like removing original gameplay content.
