How do you make Yellow Messages in the middle of the screen?

How do you make that Message appear in the middle of the client players screen. like what ive heard referred to as an "Admin" message: Big yellow text in the middle of the screen, says a welcome message and some other fun user-settable stuff. This doesnt necessarily pertain to Chaos, just UT2k3-4 in general

Hmm wouldnt that just show up in the F2 screen?

I know it is possible but I just dont know the code that the admin needs to show. Basicly, Jed, it is some kind of console command that if you are logged in as admin you can display. Kind of displaying text like the MOTD but whenever you want and not changing the MOTD.

Server MOTD is displayed for a few seconds after a map is loaded on a server.

That said, i dont know of any way to get it to show up midgame.

I think MotD's do show up mid-game sometimes. Its really annoying.

Actually, I'm not quite sure. It might have been in MOH:AA.

yea i thought MOTD's showed up at connect, but i never see mine for some reason, even when i connect from a remote location. I know F2 shows them, but never see them at connect. does Chaos disable these?

No we dont.

We dont disable anything intentionally (that i can think of anyways).. most of our stuff is only adding content and tweaking the weapon spawns.

lol ok , now last night, on a duel server no less, without any mutators running, I was on a server and the admin was talking and his messages were showing up in the middle of the screen instead of in the usual chat area

AHA! i got it!
they arent yellow but they are in the middle:

when logged in as admin...
do a SAY blah blh will just talk like normal
but
do a SAY # blah blh will put it in the middle of the screen
