Ok so I had some problems with my installation of Unreal Tournament. Some people said that It was caused by mod compatibility problems. And I'm like yeah, right. But I uninstalled all the mods. And still problems. So Then I said hell with it. I uninstalled the entire game, and reinstalled it. All 6 cds. I did virus sweeps, spyware sweeps, closed all apps. Patched the game to latest, and bloop, still problems. And at this point, i'm like WTF! So then I reinstall the whole game again! and the same thing. So I sit down and think, the probelms started when I applied the latest patch. So now I"m not going to apply the patches and see what happens. *#&@

Unresponsive mouse actions. Inability to skip opening scences.

Oh great, now you're going to tell me a good solution to it and I'll feel like an idiot.

unresponsive mouse is propably becouse youve got low fps and reduce mouse lag unticked,dunno about the skip opening,wasnt it done by pressing fire or menu open?check what is that binded to

Well what I meant was that you can't use the mouse at all in game. THe menus work, but in the opening logo scene, you can't use the mouse to skip the thing. The esc button dont' work either. I also can't start a game by pressing fire, which just plainly doesn't work. I pressed reset config a few times too. SO I'm not sure what's wrong.
