can i use "melee only" in invesion and team deathmatch? and if i can how?

if it is not possible, will it be in the next relese?

Yes i think so......easyest way would be a mutator or the hard way it chaging ever lvl on ur server 2 melee only through the chaos info actor

eh. Thats not exactly right. Due to the way Melee works , it can only work in Chaos Gametypes , so at current its only in Duel,CDM ,CTDM,KOTH,CCTF.
that being said , if you want to play melee only in any of those gametypes , you need to go under the game settings tab and hit the Melee only checkbox (or in the case of duel, switch the weaponset to melee)

Melee invasion is something we had wanted to do. Actually we had one, then it became DOC. The big issue with Melee and Invasion is the weapons don't do enough damage to the monster so we would have to tweak that some....its not a bad idea...

the reason melee is gametype only is because it swaps out things that make it incompatible with other muts as a mut.

how about team deathmatch? is it possible to melee there? if not, will it be in the next one with the relics? or is ther a patch or something for that?

sorry for being such a tick, but i really liked to do melee team battles with the melee weapons back in UT.

Yes,CTDM will be in the next version...if you want to do melle now load up melle team KOTH
