Bug Report Thread for CUT2:3 PR3.5

As always we try to fix every bug. But the sad truth is we miss some. Please report all bugs you find here so we can work to ensure they are corrected for in the next version.

Please note you need to have UT2004 v3323 patch or greater!!!!

If v3323 isn't public yet, what can the people who don't have access to the beta patch do?

AFAIK, the patch hasn't been greenlighted for public release yet.

Epic has gave us every indication that the patch will be made public very soon. You have two choice. Download the UT2004 patch (mirror at BeyondUnreal) and play Chaos Now. Or wait till the patch is public then get install that.

Part of the rules for the MSU contest is that the mod has to be public. So we were forced into it. Remember we said we would have waited if there was no dead-line. This is another reason why we wanted to wait.

I wish there was another way but our hands are tied :(

Yeah. I'm familiar with the the discussions on the mod and server list. Wasn't the last patch released right before a weekend when it was believed they wouldn't?

Okay, since i'm probably missing something obvious, this may sound extremely silly:

I can't seem to find any reference to the 3323 patch which will actually allow me to download something/anything.
jb, above, said that beyondunreal had a mirror - where is it please?

BU has a mirror but its hidden from the public I believe...

For server and players if you not able to see vCTF maps in chaosctf in map vote check your chaosut2.ini for [Engine.GameInfo] section and make sure the votinghandler is set to:

VotingHandlerType=ChaosGames.ChaosUT_xVotingHandler


or you can do this.

Thank you Furry.

But we need some good maps to choose from. I know we just released yesterday...., but we're not getting any younger. :wink: Please remove Bloodgulch just as quickly as your fingers can go, and add some of the better ones available these days.

There have been quite a few at least halfway decent maps released since the days when maps like Bloodgulch, and conversions like ArticStronghold were giving the game type a bad name. :P
