Chaos Invasion
This must seem stupid to some people, but it wouldn't be that hard to execute , would it?
Could we have a quick-and-dirty Chaos Invasion gametype where the players can't TK each other and the monsters actually give real points so they get picked up by UT2004RPG? I think it would be a really great gametype, as close to an MMORPG as you could get in UT2004.
I couldn't find anything on this topic in other parts of the forum, but I'm sure it has been discuseed before. Anyone care to enlighten me?

I have posted some thoughts on a Chaos Invasion. My thoughts came from a different spark than yours, not exactly related maybe, but perhaps it could be expanded to be so...

Today RPG is most popular mutator for invasion and it's hard to find any invasion servers without RPG on it. It allows you to get experience points and levels by killing monsters which gives you more and better abilities as you progress in levels (very modable mutator as well). Bots use it too. All in all, its very hot mutator for any invasion type of game so it would be VERY nice if Chaos Invasion would be compatible with it.
BTW, I don't think its players score that’s the problem; it's the monsters worth in points most likely, which is probably 0 for all of them as you do score differently. The RPG simply gets 0 points for each kill and gives 0 experience accordingly.
Another problem I saw with RPG and Chaos UT is when you use Chaos UT mutator in normal invasion with RPG. Your mutator allows us to play with both original and Chaos weapons (which are by far the best weapons I saw in any mod 'till today, and I saw a lot of them) which is great but it seems that this mod produces lots of GPF errors as well. Actually they are so frequent that you are lucky if you manage to get by 2 maps without getting it. It's big bogus since those are my 2 favorite mutators. Another problem I noticed is with items spawned by luck weapons (RPG magic weapon that spawns items in front of the player randomly. Items are usually ammo, shields, health and adrenaline). These items should disappear after they were either picked up or after a short while if they aren't, but with Chaos UT mutator they keep spawning at that place constantly. The result is that, after a while the whole map gets quite crowded with items spawning all over it. However, I'm not sure if that causes GPF errors since lots (not all) of them appear just as the game is loading new map.
All of this was tested in 3.6 version so I have no idea if any of this is changed for the new one.
Oh, yeah, and CHAOS UT RULES.

Proxies are THE BEST AND FUNNIEST weapon I have ever seen in any game by now. I played Chaos mod since Quake 2 and I always loved it. You guys made a great mod and I'm glad I see you keep making it better.
