years. But alas, the server IP just changed. The
new addy is: 71.90.63.10

Hey, thanx for the response. If you IM me before you go in, I may be able to join ya. Also be aware that I am going to be upgrading to some quiet fan technology in all my PCs this weekend...and that includes the server...so if you dont see it online, it will be back eventually.

Np Psycho, sorry I haven't really stopped in yet. Due to my backup external hard drive developing a crap load of bad sectors I lost my chaos folder. I'm not convinced of the reliability of the bigger hard drives that are coming out these days. I've had like 3 500gig external western digitals crap the bed. I can't afford to pay for data recovery on them. Anyway I'll get back to it eventually once I get my configs worked up.

Bummer on the HD issues. Been there myself more than once
but I learned my lesson early on. The only thing I don't do that
I really should is arrange for on offsite duplicate of my data.

If you need any Q2 data such as maps, textures, players, etc.,
I'll do what I can to help.

anywhere to get the maps for your server to safe time downloading each map as they rotate?

The maps in rotation are not available as a single download package.
I could put 'em in a .zip file or transfer them to you by some other
means. Though I'd only be including the maps...you'd still have to
download environment, texture, sound, and other files through normal
server play.
