where can i find a decated server download Q2 Chaos

Get the chaos112comp.exe file for a full install. If you'll be runnin a server open the 114beta/ folder and get the 1.14 patch for servers only.

how do I turn that into an executable file ? So that i can run the sever ?

the executable is still quake2.exe

to run a chaos dedicated server you will probably want to make a batchfile something like this
<cut below>
quake2 +set dedicated 1 +set port 27910+set game chaos +set cheats 0 +exec inet_server.cfg
<cut above>

cut & paste that into notepad, and save it as Chaos.bat making sure that its save as allfiles, not as .txt files or you can save it as chaos.txt, and just rename it to chaos .bat put that in your q2 folder NOT in the chaos folder.

good luck and if you get a server up & runng post your ip so people can add it to gamespy/pingtool/ all seeing eye

Thanks. I've been playing Q2 Chaos for 5 years or more and love it. We have to keep it going!
