This is still a work in progress (I have to say that or TSK yells at me)
The New Chaos Crossbow
Re: The New Chaos Crossbow
It's lovely, but where does the arrow come out?
Or does it shoot energy and not arrows?
If arrows are loaded in the middle so they shoot out the "mouth" it strikes me that can't be an easy reload.

Re: The New Chaos Crossbow
Looks like those brass disks in the center may spin or do something to facilitate the movement of the bolt. Please keep in mind I am guessing completely. heh. Also it does look like the bolt would come out of the mouth taking into account the alignment from the back pic.

Re: The New Chaos Crossbow
Not that reloading matters but the grip is meant to hinge allowing the gear quiver to slide off and be replaced.
Since UT doesn't have reloading I mean

Hey guys! there is some design work still to be done but Flagg quoted me correctly. The idea is that the grip can be popped out and arrows replaced that way. Since UT won't have reloads that won't matter much, I did want to plan ahead so that We would have something cool for the ammo pickups.

It looks so badass. Are you going to add the string too?LoQtUS wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:32 pmAhhhh. I see now. Thanks! and yes strings will be in the final version of course. So much of what we are doing is a work in progress so don't mind the rough edges. Thanks for stopping by!Maytock wrote:It looks so badass. Are you going to add the string too?
