What is the license on the Q2Chaos Source Code? Is there any problem with uploading it to a public version control site (like github)?

Is the source code for the Chaos Lives patches available anywhere?

At this point, I really doubt anyone would have an issue with you doing whatever with that Q2 stuff.

The other patch you mentioned was not done by the Chaos team, you might find the author over on the Q2 Chaos facebook group page.

I've actually been modding the current source code for Q2 Chaos to add some new features, would have preferred to update the MrG version.

Better late, than never. Sorry, Norc! The source code as I had it bugfixed/updated was lost back in 2004 when my HDD literally caught fire. I might revisit that project at some point, but I'd most likely be focusing strictly on the numerous bugs, buffer overrun, and security issues the last official build had, and a 64 bit version. I can tell you one of the first things I did was update the basic q2 files to the 3.21 versions to fix security issues.
