Ok, I've done a lot of the mirroring for the CTF style of this map. It looks like it may work out better then the KOTH style. I guess we'll just have to see.

Hey guys,

I've placed a JPG screen shot of what I'm going to try to do with the CTF style of this map in my folder on the FTP server. Check it out, then tell me if thats a good way to go for the CTF one.

Thanks

Cool!

I was imagining it differently, but yours is better! Now this is going to be a map I can get excited about. CTF Baby! That's my language.

Ok, great layout. Of course I can't see the middle ground so much from that shot, but I think I got an idea.

However, I wuold suggest you move those side buildings in closer. Appears to be a long walk over there, and it's not towards the flag.

The farther those buildings are away from main routes, the more powerful items you will have to place there. Or else they will never be used. At least a class 10 weapon in each one as they are now. Which might be Ok, but moving them in a bit, and maybe putting other things instead is a thought too. Keep the action quicker perhaps.

What about flag placement? Where the Hill was? Seems pretty good. Only drawback is that it's outside. Not always a bad thing, but it's also quite easy for snipers to defend the flag if it's so open. Maybe buried deep in base somewhere, and doing something else with that top 'Hill' area.

Many things could be done, all these are just thinking aloud. Can't wait to see a CTF version of the Temple Kodiak.

Oh yeah, I'll have to get you a shot or something, but once when I fell off the main bridge there, down to the sand, I got stuck underneath part of the map. I was like underneath the whole thing looking up. Could not grapple out, because it was hitting some invisible 'roof'. Had to suicide to get out. Will try and be more specific later if you don't see it. (Though I realize this may exist only because it's so early on in the building process)

Kodiak, this would also be a good BR Map... This gametype was somehow forgotten for suggestions what you can do with this map. ;)
