hey everyone just registered....i downloaded this mutator last nite been playing all night on and off .....first of all i loved this for the original U.T.....and i love this now but this version does have problems .!!!!.........first here are my specs 3gigp4 512 hyperx 3500 ddr ti4600....my version of U.T.03 is 2225......i have been trying to figure out this freezing bug but have been unable i thought maybe it was using other mutators like big head floating cadavers etc.. but for the last few hours ive been playing it with just this one on the bug is still there ive tried different maps combos and nothing all night .....im not going to try again because it wont even come out of lockup with the usual command lines (cntrl,alt,delete)and i have to hard boot which i dont like!!!.........i know this is beta and like others i love this mod but this needs to be fixed soon so we can enjoy this .thank you for listening !!! :D

It's a bug with the crossbow, it's been dicussed earlier in the thread. There'll be a hotfix soon.

thanks defalc .i know about the bug issue thats why i posted my input on this problem :oops: ..i hope theres a fix soon this mutator rocks one of my favorites!!!! :lol:......p.s. =i know i said i wasnt going to play it again cause of the hard boots but ive been up all night and im still up playing it until it locks up oh well hope my barracuda can take it 8O

There is a lil thiny the laser dot and the crosshair,
while you walk the dot dosnt move but the surounding crosshair does move then it creates the effect that the dot moves!
Its not somethin sirius i can live with it , but it would be nice if it will be fixed.

Ok need to see more info. Does this happen on Line of off line? And do you have a pic? Sorry maybe my morning coffee did not cick in just yet so I dont follow...but that just me :)

the weapon bob moves the crosshair but not the laser dot.

look at the diference between the shots.

Lost Grapple Hook

Not sure if this has been reported before, but awhile ago when I was playing Invastion with the Chaos, Super Bots and RPG mtuators (The ones I can remember from the top of my head), when I used my grapple hook, it seemed to have disappear and I could not use it again for the rest of the game. I lost the log to it as it was not the last game I played, but I only ran into that once.

Sorry if I don't have enough information.

I seen this bug when i was testing the xbow BuG it seems that if you use the hook to muck it disapeares or you run out of hook?

seems that if you use the hook to muck it disapeares or you run out of hook?
Losing the hook until respawn, on rare occasions, is a known bug. Exactly what triggers it is not however. But I can assure you it's not simply from overuse. Like the song says "I've got blisters on my fingers!", it's been used and used and used.

At one point, I thought it was this.., or that...., trying to get it to happen again on demand. But no luck yet.
It happent after abought 5 holy-sh*t's in a row(using the hook only).
8O Well, I've used it heavily, and I mean heavily....., or so I thought. Geez man, how long did that take?

Well it didnt take to much time because i as playing a small map with 3 bots.
try doing sometin like 100bx700hx256h
and then play.

While respawning is not a problem in most gamemodes, but in Invastion, you have to survive, so it is much more of a problem there. I just remember getting a grenade launcher and grapple hooking somewhere and then somehow lost it while under heavy attack from monsters.

jb, i fixed my bug. last night i realized that i had an old version of ut2003 (2199), and so i got the 2225 patch, and it worked! i could fire with the nade launcher at the bot! however, although i could fire the crossbow, when i actually fired it AT the bot, then the game froze, and i had to do a hard shutdown in order to get out of ut.

thats a know bug for the lock up. We have a fix for it ready. It will be out very very soon. Thanks for the confirmations on the other bug fix. Sorry we did not make that more clear. We are learning how to communicate better so these hickups now will help us to ensure they dont happen again.

cool! other than that.. i have hit no other problems yet, though i have not seen all the weapons.. so i can't be sure :) the mod looks GREAT!
