how about when the charged cross bow kills some one, the victem gets pinned to a wall or goes flying across the room (similar to the cross bow effect on HL2, go ahead, call me sadistic, but i can do that for hours)

make the c.u.t.t.e.r. decapitate limps... ie, loose an arm+no akimbo (loose right arm, weapon switches to left side and vise-versa) loose a leg, 1/2 speed reduced ect...

actually Painkiller did it first,and in there it looked better

I woulda like to see this done too,but not like the stake launcher mutator where the corpses become wall-seeking missiles 8O

I didn't feel like reading all 9 pages so I'll just list some that I'm going to think up right now...

________________________SUPERWEAPONS______________________

1...maybe a "bomb launcher" that explodes and sets ablaze all who are in the vicinity. IDK if it would be practical but maybe you could even use the MUG fire flames and it would blow and shoot that out in all directions..sort of like fireworks.

OR

2. I know this sounds dumb (maybe)..a "super ERDW" that you can use to lock-on to multiple targets then shoot and it sends one big beam out that jumps to each individual killing them or dealing massive damage.

3. Nuke.

_______________________NORMAL WEAPONS____________________

1. A multi-beam rapid revolution laser gun..it would have a spinning piece on the front that shoots multiple laser beams out at once...dealing little damage..but speed would balance it out. like the minigun...so it would be like..say 20 very small miniguns in one shooting at the same time in a circular motion with lasers.

2. Something similar to the new Manhack mutator or the weapon in Painkiller that sends out something that hits your foe and comes back.

3. More ammo to the sniper rifle..like the ice ammo already suggested and maybe some fire too that leaves a fire effect in the air and sets them ablaze....(wouldnt a giant gun that shot a massive bullet on fire that streaks across the map with a roar be cool!...superweapon :P)

4. C4 that you can plant on its own that goes bang! maybe you could add some sort of chaotic touch to it.. :wink:

Super wep

1.Bomb launcher:isnt that a biiit like a napalm grenade launcher,only with a larger AOE?

2.Sounds a bit lame,would stop any good flag stealing attempts instantly,AND be worthless in any non team game(who would stand around locking on targets in a DM game)

3.A bit too much like U4E's dollbomb(basicly a nuke that slowly moves and may change its course)

Normal

1.I would really like to see a rapid fire weapon in CUT,and this sound nice enough


2.Would like to see this as a choice between CPP and a weaker,returning,no ammo weapon(but with flashy looks and varying attack modes(ala painkiller)

Primary:shoot a fast,hot,glowing ball,which when attached to a surface creates a laser from the ball to the user(medium range)
Secondary:Return
Primary+Secondary:shoot the ball,but with blades or whatever is around it,creating a slower,no laser projectile that does helluva lot damage

all must be returned

3.would like to see freeze,slow,blind ammo for the sniper,but not as a superweapon

4.Why do you need C4 when you have the NOT fluffy bundles of joy hopping around?

the bomb launcher would be like a fire version of the vortex...itll shoot out a ball it will land and go BAM! and all around it will be set on fire instantly and there will be smoke and a flash

and the nuke being a dollbomb...where did you get that i just said nuke...Nukes are the most chaotic thing u could put in the game...it should already be in it..It could be like the redeemer except a new model and a big bang like in the Seige 2004 mod.

as for the gunblade..lol worth a try

still sounds a bit like a fire+disruptor grenade type.. :?

the dollbomb effect is a real nuke,so it would be too much like dollbomb(a nuke aint a nuke without a mushroom cloud)

I'd like to put some sort of eviscerating blade thing on the tip of the minigun. Lots of damage if the enemy gets too close.

some ammo reference. Me, i am just into making new ammo ideas ofr the current CUT weps.

CUTTER: Poison blades; name should give you an idea. :)

shock blades; blades carrying a small prototype generator. when activated, the generator will create electricity on the blade as it flies. when about two feet from a vehicle it will shock the vehicle, leaving some damage and will make a weapon auto-fire if someone is manning it. when the blade hits a player, it instantly makes them drop the weapon they are currently holding, drop the relic if they have any, and drop any game objective if they have it. or a variation of the three.

Sniper Rifle: ice bullet; yes, i was the one that mentioned it. if you want its effects, just ask.

mine bullet; when this bullet lands on a player, vehicle, or object it sticks. when an enemy player or vehicle passes by it activates with the force of a rocket launcher shot. however, it will affect the one who shot it as well if they approach.

Smart bullet; this bullet follows whatever player it is locked on to and has a .5 increase in firing rate than normal ammo. it is a little weaker though but comes in plenty of ammo.( locking mechanism is the same as the rocket launcher)

Chaos Rocket Launcher: ice rocket; when this rocket collides with someone, it does little damage but instantly freezes them. it even freezes the road to make it slippery. when it hits a vehicle it makes the vehicle have to slow down a bit because it just froze the gears.

twin rocket; this rocket is actually two. when fired, it starts a a nromal rocket. when it reaches a certain distance from a collision point it divides into two, a slow but powerful rocket and a fast but weak rocket. good for all purposes.

that is all the ideas I have for now.

I finally have a weapon idea.

no name as of yet.

primary: fires the grim reaper which seeks out the nearest player. if there is none in sight, it goes after you.

secondary: Fires a random powerful monster.( Warlords for non-chaos gametypes, titans and queens if satore monster pack is enabled, the lucifer and amon if used in a chaos gametype).

this has been an idea of mine for some time...A Flag Gun in CTF...heres how works...
the gun itself cycles with the cross bow (or it can be seperate, which ever fits best) when its picked up its useless, no ammo, but once the player touched the enemy flag, the flag loads up into the flag gun and it becomes a one shot weapon capable of pierceing multiple enemies and pinning them to a wall while sacrificing the flag it self... to prevent using the FG as a make-shift BR match, the only person who can catch the flag are enemies who touch the flag after its shot into a wall, and the shooter, any one else is killed instanty, or atleast cant pick up the flag until the shooter is killed...
o is this jus another crazy idea that wastes posting space???

I'd like to see the CUTTER as a melee weapon, has it has a massivly long couple of spikes sticking out of the front that you can probebly impale people with, i was hoping it would be done in an earlier version.
Imagine a screenshot of 3rd person view of someone being implaed on a wall with the CUTTER.
Also i'd like to see some kind of gravity gun, which (primary) removes the gravity and air control on the enemy player, causing him to float off the ground and (secondry) causes a mug style affect that pushes the enemy away.
Also a "standard" weapon, ie on original UT2004 it is the link gun and the shock rifle, on CUT2 evolution it is cutter. I would like to see....
RaFAVeL or Rapid fire anti vehicle laser, which is a superfast shock beam, cabeble of searing through flesh and metall alike. Primary: rapid fire, secondaryL: charge up attack, that does more damage.

that ravaflannel thingy would unbalance the game completely, th G-Gun would rip off HL2, (as my BFG idea) and the C.U.T.T.E.R. as a melee would be good as long as there are no ranged attacks (its called melee for a reason)
