Chaotic Dreams

Great idea. I would definately want a shirt at least.

I talked to my friend at GeeKWearZ and they are very interested in becoming the official manufacturer of our gear. He said he could make both the Admin stuff and then stuff to sell to the general public from their site. We might be able to work out a deal for some shirts to give away at the CON or whatever.

They have their own screening and embroidery systems, as well as their own computer harness system called GigRigZ. I know they could do this for us!

SPA, can you get in touch with <a href="mailto:everman@geekwearz.com">Everman@geekwearz.com</a> and send him the images and official permissions or whatever? We should do the "Fear the PROXY" shirt. I think they can do more than T-Shirts as well. I know they can embroider Polo shirts. They have several contacts in that area. Would be nice to work that kind of stuff through them.

I would be happy to coordinate with them to have this gear made up.

sounds like a plan. I have been playing around with trying to come up with a design myself. Again I would think a few different styles would be sweet. Maybe a Chaos Arena and a Chaos UT T-shirt style. Then make a Chaotic Dreams shirt in a polo style (ie with a collar). Maybe have a smally proxy symbol stiched on the sleve.....

However I need to get one ASAP....

it should be Chaotic Dreams related, not just ChaosUT...
Maybe put Chaosdm, ChaosUT, Chaos Arena on the sleve...

Put a big proxy on the back

But we could use that one for gathering some more Shirt ideas... well... I would at least make one mod independent motive which uses the proxies and something like Joes "Beware of the Proxies"... maybe some kind of "stream of proxies" jumping towards the viewer... one big in foreground and some of them in the background coming after... will try to render whats in my head on Sunday evening once Im back and post it here

Ok time to put my ideas down here.

One thing I think would be neet is to have a picture of the Creek Model standing on some skulls or something and have it hold a sword or another chaotic weapon with the saying "Got Chaos?"

Or use that same pick that SPA made of the Guy holding the sword (the one that Mark used for the front page of the manual) and the saying "Need a Shave?"

I would like to see two polo type shirts. One with just Chaotic Dreams and the other with just the proxies on it.

Got Geekwearz.com to agree to do the shirts etc...


Also got permission from SPA to go ahead with the shirts, what you all need to do now is to send all graphics ideas to the e-mail addy in the previous post... everman@geekwearz.com and they will do up some ideas.

Once we agree on a couple they will make up the shirts and you will be able to order them online at their site using paypal.

We will have to narrow it down to a couple ideas and there will be seperate versions, one for the General Public and one for the Chaotic Dreams people.

I plan on bringing a box full to quake con to give away if i can so time is short to get those ideas in.

You can also send them to me at Rimshot@planetquake.com and I will take them over to those guys.

I think we should add one of the CA logos. As well as the creek and a pic of that guy with a sword...saying want a shave?

How about 3 public, one for each game (Q2, Q3 and UT)? And only one Chaotic Dreams for us? Hehee customized with our nicknames...heheheeheh sorry

How about adding the website also on the shirts, caps etc....that way if the public wants to order these items they have to go to the website which will have the link or at least tell them how to get these fine pieces of apparel..

Kewl... is this finally going to happen? It's been mentioned a few times by a few people since pre-GOTYE times!

Let's see.... I'll be needing 2 T-shirts, one polo shirt, 2 ballcaps, coffee mugs, beermugs, keychains, wallpaper, some of those nice proxy rugs I saw on the floors in ChaosDM8, oh..and how about mudflaps for my truck?

I hope Rimmers contacts can help me with some of this stuff anyway....

I have also secured them as sponsors to help pay my expenses and get me to Quake CON.

I run some of the servers for these guys Lan parties and they are a good group of people.

Great job Rimshot...u da man!!! I have always wondered how many people I pass in the malls and computer stores actually play CUT and with this promotion of Chaotic Dreams as a visual influence, we should find out very quickly.
