And BTW- If you have UT, I highly recommend checking out XMaps. I've never seen a finer map selection tool thingy. Before hanging it up, he released a BETA for UT2003, which is lacking many features of the UT version, but already allows you to select any map in the middle of a game. (and more)

dariusz - Seems to work very well. Do you know the parameters I can use to set scorelimit?
Also, can parameters be added to individual maps in the maplist, instead of using broad catgory configuration? This would be perfect for me... some maps last ages, some really short, so it would be nice if I could specify scorelimits for individual maps.

Doesn't work right now but that's not hard to add, should only take minor code changes. Perhaps I can do this until tomorrow
Just getting started w/ChaosUT2. I've only tested it on a few maps but I am also seeing some performance impacts on maps like Antalus and Asbestos. I have no other muts loaded and am running on a P4 2.0 w/512MB and no other apps open (NAV and ZA, etc. in the system tray - No P2P apps). Running 1024 rez with details HIGH except for World which is Normal.
Startup time is longer, stutters at first during countdown and gameplay is (I hate to use the word) "laggy" for a while after the match starts. After a few minutes it seems to clear up (weird). This is all offline (haven't yet played online with it). Smaller maps don't seem to have a problem.
A couple of OT notes:
I find it hard to tell if I am even firing the crossbow and where the bolts are going. Arrows are tiny!
Support for weapon auto-switch would be great (if there is a config option let me know!). I die many times as I am quickly reaching for the key to switch to the weapon I just picked up.
For the autoswitch it is because the new weapons are shoved into the bottom of your weapon priorities list... below the shieldgun... so you will never autoswitch to them until you raise them higher (think someone said hitting the default button works)

Speaking of weapon priorities list, is there a faster way to set up the weapons? Right now it is too much trouble setting up anything because I have to press the button to move weapons around one by one. I really hate it, because it lags if I press it too fast and I can't simply drag them like I could in UT. Is there any faster way to set up weapons?
dariusz, what about the other selfmade mutator that changes the ammo? Are you going to put that up for download also?

Ah...that makes sense. I stupidly assumed since the Chaos weapons replaced normal UT2 weapons the autoswitch would work off of those weapons priorities. DOH!

Not at all stupid. There have been many folks wondering the same thing, and it's got me thinking that either I need to improve the manual somehow, or we should think about doing just as you assumed.
