3) PC version not's going to have Coop, which is a very good experiance. Grab a friend and an XBox and a copy of Halo and get playing (and better graphics/new weapons can go ************************).
Shame on thee.
ERR, WRONG.
Co-op will come to the PC version as a later patch. It Will be on the PC version.
PC is sooo much superior to consoles.
Of course. Please excuse me whilst I go and shave my beard, it's itching.
Not to turn this into a PC vrs Console war. But I have an xbox, PS and have own N64 and others in the past. Some games just play better on the consoles..like Racing and Sports games. Others (first person shooters) seem to be at home on the PC. So they both are good.
Pc's beat consoles when it comes to Fps, rpgs (in a sense) and diversity only because of mods though. If you’re talking about diversity when it comes to games. Consoles have pc's beat... since most games on the pc are fps, rts, or mmorpgs with an action game or two thrown in every decade or so or a very rarely seen hybrid of the 4. Consoles also have pc's beat in the comfort category since the whole point of playing a game with a controller is to allow you to feel more comfortable when you play, though only well made games have good controls. Which basically means less chances for you to get RSI or something.
If more developers thought the same way as the guys at rockstar do they would make more money IMO. I loved the fact that GTA3/vc on the pc had 2 completely different control methods... 1 for pc fps players and the other for the rare breed of players whom own a pc and a console that play both, which is the classic control setup. I actually wanted to make a mut for ut2k3 that lets you control your character in a similar way to Vice city’s classic control setup, but I have no clue where to even start lol.
- CaptinKewl delivered on part of the MUG. Now you can BBQ your enemies
- We had to rethink our turret ands its turret camera feature. Found a workaround so that it should work in on-line play.
- With our IR the melee combat was not working right in on-line games. We were able to see the proper animations just could not do any damage so games would end in a tie unless you some how managed to kill your self We almost have that corrected (error had to do in the way the swords were being attached to the players in on-line play).
- Duel game type seems to have the basic logic working. Now you too can go one-on-one with your favorite rival. Duel was intended to be used for Melee combat but we may extend that for any weapons (or all) to statisfy those RA types. Not sure will get back to this one later.
- Gasman found and fixed the ERDW bug were it would "lock up" on many rapid fires with reloads.
- BTW, Did I tell you how much fun it was using the needle ammo....tick tick tick...boom
