I think you are missing his point.
You have taken a map that he created, and without permission from him you have altered it in a small way. Then released it as your own.
Ya might want to ask him if its ok with him.

Yes, first before you make your work based on the work of other custom maps or modify them, you should ask the author before (for his permission to use his work)...

Otherwise it will let you appear in a bad light...
This way now with your map, you must change many things before you can release it as final...

I recommend you to change the terrain completely, maybe use some other or additional textures for it, use different layers and change the lighting a bit... modify the skybox a bit, so there is nothing left which looks exactly like Forsaken, and I wont have anything against it...
And please change level description and level preview and remove me as author of the map...
It will be ok with me, when your final version of your map looks like inspired by Forsaken and not exactly like Forsaken in most parts...

So go back to work and change it, I am curious of how the final version of your map will look then...

You mean the modified texture I used with the weather effect?
Sure, you can use it if you want, as long as the rest does not look like Forsaken anymore..

I'll playtest it for ya! I'll get back to this in about 30 minutes.
EDIT: Okay, that didn't take long. First off: The lens flare is nowhere NEAR the sun in the skybox, so it's just like coming out of the clouds or something. The bots don't know how to use the smoke to go upwards. Once you go up, you can't safely get down without a grapple. You should not be able to reach the destroyed portions of the bridge, it makes the map very large. Personally, I'd scale down the entire map a bit. You can go right through many parts of the arches on the brdige, so you might want to fix the collision. You might want to decorate the top part of the bridge somewhat. There's no selected music track. There's no level screens or author name. Finally, the name of the map is Duel-TheBride.
Overall, it's just too bland to play online and too buggy to botmatch. The environment is good, though.

Gee, and the environment was the one part of the map he didn't design
