TKATK,
An easter egg is an very nice idea. I think there will be one in the map.
:D

Defilus,

Its really easy to make such lightrays.
You must make an lighttray static mesh add it in the map.
Now you must make it passable and unlit.
I think thats all I done

WTF is an easter egg?
And that lighteffect from the window (one of the coolest things) is realy cool. It ads some sort of Splinter Cell effect.

An easter egg is a little hidden something in a level or game, that serves no real purpose but is there for fun, like the Pirates of Na Pali sign in the original Unreal single player. :)

there are a few easter eggs (some not harmless though :) ) in some of our maps and some stuff on our weapons if you look in enough details at the models etc.

i will take the risk of sounding like a complete and total mapping n00b by asking this question...

Do i need some other kind of 3D modeling program to make these lightray statics? If so, what is the cost, where to get, etc.

If i can make these statics in-game (like UEd 2.0 style) how do i go about doing that?

-Defilus

EDIT: not to be ripping off your idea, but what tileset are you using in your map? I have been wanting to make a medieval style map for so long now and your map has given me tons of inspiration... if i only knew what tileset it was XD
