UPDATE INFO- new file revisions are online- all files are updated or new except the music file.
Ive added better textures, effects, stage trap, and higher poly static meshes here and there.
Definitley looking better quality. I had to give up on the lightning bolt idea I had because turns out ut2003 doesnt have support for an instant hit weapon to be "emitted" unless I code my own "Newlightningbolt" subclass with target info...
anyhoo... i got something else to kill ya with in there now.
let me know how it goes...

I forgot I changed the udamage spawn timing temporarily to a short 10seconds for testing- its now fixed to 40 seconds- please re-download just the map file- sorry :)

I updated the map and sound files late last night again, adding MK4 GONG and FIGHT sound effects at map start.
I hope to possible release The Pit tonight.

There are custom made MK themed shield shard and health vial pickups.
I considered making a custom udamage pickup mesh - but original looks so cool all ready I couldn't bring myself to chage it.
Also the God faces are teleporters to opposite sides of arena.
And if you tried going for the Udamage pickup you know by now not to be slow about it :) FATALITY!!
And dont forget to try out my custom modified duel announcer pack for the total MK experience. Remember to back up the original first so you can rename back to play online. Also you must change your UT2003 default announcer to "EVIL" (possibly any other non-default one-bu t I use evil so never tried the others) to get all the custom sounds from the package to play when there supposed to- weird bug I discovered.

If I owned MK:DEADLY ALLIANCE I could take a stab at a few- but since I do not have it I have nothing to work with...

I think I remember seeing you b4 Bigfoot... didn't you go by the name of Peter_Pi on the forums mkalliance.net? If not sumone is posting you work on that site... just a heads up

I changed my profile name at mkalliance to BIGFOOT_PI recently also...

yes- theres teleporters at the faces and a trap in the map...plus new custom pickups and soundfx, some better textures and meshes, etc ...

okay,gonna check out next mornin,i have thought about a gravity hole opening in the middle on which players could walk,but ragdolls would slip thru,it would look cool,but not like MK,ohh well,would require some movers or could look cheesy,but the ragdoll effect would be lovely,as it slips thru a hole in the middle (jumpy)
