Eh, that would make it too powerful. But the idea I have would be Deemer-ish except for a few things

Nemephosis, Lets just say that it is not planned for the next release, but could endup in a future release

The vortex used to suck through walls in the quake2 version

technically it still should , as the vortex creates a gravity distortion which would effect anything within its radius regardless of walls. . .
thats not saying we should change it . . .

There's enough bugs to hammer out as it is. We don't need to run the risk of making more, yet

actually.. i always thought it was a vaccumm not singularity (ie.. it sucks air not space).. but oh well

Well, guess it depends on how you look at it Jedi. I mean, singularities out in space don't suck up the entire universe (at least not yet), so maybe this is just a much smaller version, maybe this is just a singularity that does not suck up entire map. ;p (of course, real ones don't 'go away' like ours do, afaik, but oh well)
And also, since electro-magnetism is a much stronger force than gravity Pep, it is in fact affected by things like walls and such. Otherwise, for example, everybody who jumped off a building would be pulled by gravity thru the sidewalk into center of the earth. But the electro-magnetic force in the 'innards' of all matter, is a much stronger force than gravity, and so the sidewalks stops you. (turn this on it's side, ie: vortex, and it's the wall stopping you)
Hehe, just funnin'. PBS owns.

well.. actually if you consider space as it really is: space-time, then singularities are very deep (possibly bottomless) holes in the fabric of space time, whereas a star is a deep dent, and a planet or something is a minor dent. But that doesnt really help either arguement.
One of the fun things about black holes, is that if you look at the ones in the center of a galaxy, it feeds so much that it eats everything in a given radius and feeds itself out, the rest of the galaxy that remains is balance so it doesnt escape but doesnt get sucked in either.
Then theres also those troublesome theories about WHITE holes, which spit out matter.

That would be pretty sweet to see return to the arena. I really liked that weapon, although it seemed to be one of the more accuarate shotguns I had seen. But it should fit nicely with all the little tweaks you've made like the ammo switch button.
It'd be cool if the incendiary round would catch people on fire ala Unreal II/XMP's shotgun. Thats a fun toy....
Armor piercing would be cool maybe in ONS context... a vehicle killer maybe?

Hmmm , spitting out matter is just about all my white hole ever does . . .

How about actually getting out of the way of the damn things next time?
I like them Scorpion blades but wish they were longer.
Now, all we need is the sound bite when you run someone over:
"SCORPION WINS! FATALITY"
rofl
