Maybe just the skeleton from the spidermines could at least be used for aiding in Chrek developement?

at the moment there are no plans on utilizing the chrek.
besides . Im no modeller , but i dont htink the spidermine skeleton shares bone names with the Biped bone structure , so it would be incompatible. Plus theres the added fact that any CUT2 model would most likely be compatible with our melee , but with the chrek , that would require a pile of new animations.

Yeah, listen to Pepito. I don't know how often I've already written that:
Non-humanoid creatures are not 100% compatible with the current UT system. And much more important, they are absolutely incompatible with our current melee system. The problem is
not us not willing to do it, not being able to set up custom bones or lacking ideas. Epic created that problem.
So:
No Chrek. Maybe I should make a sticky just for these two words...

I still reckon a DoC and/or invasion monster Chrek might work. Though I don't know much about DoC, the invasion monsters don't exactly have karma, or skeletons and the like.

True. I was referring to playermodels. As long as our coders will allow for it, almost every kind of
monster should be possible.

Yes, I'll do the modeling and skins, you have to do the anims - you'll have fun with that for a
very long time. After all, it's a four legged creature. Hey, we could even make him six-legged. Or, even better: a centipede! How about that?

O-0 Centipede?!?!?!?! Yikes! can you imagion animating 100 legged Creature. WOW that would have to take atleast a month or two for the walk cycle.
