I once drove a vehicle onto a water volume, and got out, and couldnt move. I tried several times, and the same thing happened.

No Epic said they will probably fix it in one of the patches. There is no really easy way to fix it thats claen. There are several ways to fix it that are more of hacks..they should work but they are ugly. So we will have to wait and see what they do...
